The following checklist highlights a number of features that home buyers typically look for when buying a property.

When using the checklist, the buyer should carefully evaluate each item and determine whether the item is critical, important, nice but not important, or to be disregarded based upon a four point scale from 1 (critical) to 4 (disregarded).

It is important to note no property will meet every criteria and as a result it is important to categorize the most important features.
